Playing a leading role in the fight against addiction for 105 years at both national and international levels, the Turkish Green Crescent Society will address national and global developments in the struggle against behavioral addictions at the 6th Global Congress on Behavioral Addictions, which will be held in Istanbul on May 13-14, 2025. As a continuation of the 5th International Congress on Technology Addiction, the congress will focus on national and global developments in the field of behavioral addiction.
The main objective of the congress is to share the latest scientific developments on the harms of behavioral addictions with the international community, within the scope of the fight against behavioral addiction, and to enable the creation of novel, effective, scientific, and evidence-based approaches.
The congress will bring together researchers, experts, and representatives from institutions and organizations in the field of behavioral addictions from various countries worldwide. The event will focus on the following six themes:.
• Current practices in behavioral addiction prevention
• Emerging research methodologies in behavioral addictions
• Prevention, intervention, and advocacy strategies for behavioral addictions
• New risks and challenges in behavioral addictions
• Effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation services for behavioral addictions
• Insights and experiences gained in behavioral addiction prevention
